Edition binding (plural Edition bindings)

  1. "Bindings in identical covers, produced in quantity."[1][2]
    Synonym: publisher's binding (mechanized binding)

May also be used to refer to the process of hand-binding a small number of identical copies, such as for a fine-press edition, which may be of any binding style, not just case binding.
